Retrosaia ...

  ... is the Portuguese word for haberdashery and started as an online shop in 2008.

Due to the growing demand, Rosa Pomar opened her shop in the end of 2009  Rua do Loreto, in the heart of Lisbon.

Rosa Pomar / Retrosaria stands for wool and yarn that are extracted and processed in Portugal. A little merino wool from southern Spain completes their range.

No toxic chemicals are used in processing and many of their products are left natural.

Retrosaria is one of the growing number of small businesses that are celebrating and promoting a comeback of the Iberian Merino sheep - going "back to the roots", so to speak.
